Just because it’s May!

…and just because today is cloudy, windy, and only 49 degrees in northeastern Ohio, I decided to post a gallery of 10 cheerful orange and yellow birds that I recently photographed on a  (much warmer) trail walk in Chagrin River Park. Maybe they will help me remember that it is still spring.

That’s it for today’s trail walk photos. No matter what your weather or your situation today, I hope they cheered you up and put a smile on your face.

See you soon.

      1. I smiled when I read “scream SPRING”, they really do. The only thing weather-wise I miss from living up north is the screaming of spring…here in FL it is merely a whisper.

  1. We saw two rose-breasted grosbeaks at my cousin’s feeder last night. Have never seen two together! Did you go to Magee Marsh last week? Saw a TV segment about all the birders who were there hunting birds. Back door neighbor

    1. Would love to have made the trip to Magee. It’s a fabulous place during spring migration. I am still waiting to see my first grosbeaks for this spring. They’re hiding from me.
