Hands down, Autumn is my favorite season. The colors, the crisp air, and the blue sky…nothing surpasses an Autumn trail walk. In the past week, I’ve walked the trail in Chagrin River Park two or three times, soaking up the Autumn beauty. Here are some pictures I captured recently along the river trail.
I would write more and organize it better, but what they have done to wordpress has totally confused me. Another blogger wrote, “WordPress sucks,” but I just want to know how to get back to the old WP editor. It worked for me, and I was able to be more creative; however, unless I can find my way around the changes they have made, I won’t be satisfied with my blog or with the Word Press platform. Guess I’ll just keep working on it! For now, I simply hope you enjoy the pictures.
See you in a day or two!

ohio does have some very beautiful park system, I love them cant hike them like I used to, but have been to the cuyahoga valley national park (which used to be cuyahoga national recreation area. have walked the old carriage trail a few times (5 miles plus) for the cuyahoga valley spring hiking spree, where you had to get 25 total miles, which I struggled at the time to reach. earned a few patches. but dont do it anymore.

I never heard of the spring hiking spree, but definitely congratulate you on the patches you have earned. The trails in CVNP are challenging, and definitely beyond my ability, although I would love to be able to do them.

So beautiful! This is why I miss NE Ohio. We see some color here, but it never seems as varied or vibrant. I hope you found the classic editor. 🙂

Thank you, Robin. NE Ohio provides some great trails for walking. Unfortunately, I haven’t been on the trail enough in recent months. I really need to pick up my pace.

I feel the same way about Autumn. It is gone too fast … in the past you wrote of a tree that lost its leaves in one day. I went to the Block Editor in April 2019 as we were getting a new accounting system at work and Windows 10 … it is now October 2020 and the equipment is at work, never set up – ridiculous. Anyway, so I was spared the immediate conversion. You’ve made a great job here … a fellow blogger wrote of a workaround … maybe this helps you too?

Thank you, Linda. I will take a look at that link. I did find a workaround, but never really got back on track when the block editor threw that curve. My fault for not persisting, and I have missed blogging and my fellow-bloggers in recent months. Today is the first day of 2021, so maybe that would be a good time to kick my blogging back into gear.

It’s been no picnic with the new block editor, I’ll tell you that. I went to the block editor in April 2019 as we were getting new software and computer system at work so I wanted to get it over with, but it is buggy at times.

The vibrant colors are what makes fall my favorite season. Unfortunately, I slipped off track with my blogging routine…nobody’s fault but my own, although I could blame wordpress and the newish block editor because it was partly to blame; however, it’s time for me to accept responsibility, put on my hiking boots, and get back on the trail. I miss my trailwalks, blog posts, and blog friends.

Everything glows! Oh, fall. On my blog, a few posts ago, I shared how to continue using classic press. It’s pretty easy. If you get a chance, take a look. I would post the link, but I am writing this comment on my phone.
