We recently had a family gathering where these three siblings were all present.
Because that rarely happens, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take this family photo.

“I don’t believe an accident of birth makes people sisters or brothers. It makes them siblings, gives them mutuality of parentage. Sisterhood and brotherhood is a condition people have to work at.” … Maya Angelou
What a great quote!

Would very definitely agree with Angelou’s comment–as I am aware of siblings who were always opponents. Fortunately, that did not become the norm among their children as cousins. Really do not see much resemblance among the trio. They all have the same deep lines from the nose to the chin. Joe and Bob’s ears are the same. Have always been fascinated with the fact that many siblings sound alike when speaking. Daddy and his three siblings all had the lovely Stephens deep brown eyes. John and his boys inherited these.
As I have said, if I could relive my life, I would study genetics.
Hope you are feeling better this morning. I, too, crawled into pajamas and went to bed soon after we returned home.

Thanks for chiming in with a detailed comment, Marti. If I posted a picture of their dad, you would see some family resemblance.
