Life gets in the way of blogging and photography sometimes, and you (or at least I) can’t keep up with everything. So I have been pretty much absent from this photoblog for some time now. Can I come back on a full time basis? Truthfully, I don’t know, but a lot depends on the ease of posting from Lightroom to WordPress. If I could post directly to my WordPress photoblogs from within Lightroom, like I can with Flickr and Smugmug, life, or at least blogging, would be much simpler. Does anyone know if that can be done? If you do, please reply in the comments. Meanwhile, I would like to share several photos I took this morning.

Zoom right in!
That’s all for today. See you soon.
You did a great job photographing this quick-moving subject.
As to your dilemma of adding photos to your blog, you might want to consider doing what I’m doing. All of the photos that I’m using are hosted at Flickr. Then I just copy the sharing code for the photo from Flickr and then paste it into my WordPress post. While you are editing your WordPress post, you are either in “Visual” or “Text” mode (they resemble tabs in the upper right of the editing window). To paste in the HTML from Flickr, it is important to be in “Text” mode. To see the photo, you either have to press the preview button or switch back to “Visual” mode. If someone clicks on the photo after you’ve published the post, they will end up at your Flickr account looking at a larger version there.
If you decide to try using Flickr images, and need any help, let me know.

Thanks, Camille. It was much too hot, around 90 degrees Fahrenheit, to take a photowalk, but then he appeared as I was sitting in the shade on my patio. I was delighted to see him.
